Description
German Zeppelin card plain backed ,this was used on the Graf Zeppelin on her second to last ever flight in 1939 ,used Rhein-Nain on the 30/7/1939 the Kassel flight.
The Graf zeppelin only flew once more which was on August 20th 1939 due to the beginning of World war two.WW2.
Interesting that there is also a one line date to the top of this card 15 August 1939 which is only 5 days before the Graf last flight, unusual.
Kassel flight cachets are applied to the bottom left side of the card
