Superb cabinet photo, one of the largest I have seen of Maori [19th century],this image shows maori woman cloaked ,huia feather, very large Hei-Tiki,and holds Wahaika club ,this came with notation photographer Josiah Martin and under eyeglass has JM 175 and Susan Rotorua,I assume as Guide Susan? The card measures 16.3cm x 21.3cm affixed card , The photo scattered tiny surface marks and does have foxing the initials across the photo are NOT on the photo, it is purely my own security to stop copies being taken.
