RARE station: Hawkes Bay. United Fire Brigades Association 5 years’ service medal with clasp and Three TWO-YEAR bars ribbon awarded Ashley-Clinton presented to fireman H Waldin [Long service medal presented to him by Ashley-Clinton Axillary fire brigade Fire brigade for five years’ service completed 12/4/1978. Ashley Clinton is a rural community in the Central Hawke’s Bay District . It is located roughly 18 kilometres west of Waipukurau, situated between Norsewood and Ongaonga near the Ruahine Forest Park. The locality is centered around the intersection of State Highway 50 and Ashcott Road. Geographically, the triangular area is framed by the Ruahine Range to the west, the Tukituki River to the north, and the Makaretu River to the south.

These medals onwards from 1968 were made of sterling silver, the silver mark is on the silver fob emblem back and maker initials TM stamped back .Appears original ribbon
