New Zealand Official stamp Mail cover addressed to Notable Sir John Hanham Baronet,

Government House, Wellington

sent from Devonport Auckland June 16 1930 ,one penny official Admiral stamp applied, machine cancel, opened carefully along the top edges.

From 1930 to 1932 he was the A.D.C. to his uncle Viscount Bledisloe then Governor General of new Zealand .

He had a considerable knowledge in English Numismatics ,coin collecting ,he was the Vice president of the British Numismatic Society ,he had a superb collection of coins[ Anglo-Saxon, Norman and Baronial periods, his main prize was a collection of 17th century Dorset tokens.
