Superb rare albumen photo mounted to card shows maori men at the Pink terrace at Rotomahana prior of course to the 1886 eruption of Mount Tarawera which destroyed these famed terraces.
Has Wheeler & Son Christchurch at bottom right of the photo.
the photo itself measures 255mm x 175mm approx and with card,296mm x 185mm
