Scarcer Gallipoli used cover used 2 sept 1915 [2 Aust Light horse Brigade field Post office, these covers were issued by the British Army post office in March 1915 .

The 2nd Australian light horse brigade was sent to Gallipoli as de-mounted infantry.

Location of sender Gallipoli-Chatham’s.

This date stamp was in use at Gallipoli from the 18th May to 15th December 1915 when the brigade was evacuated.
